In truth, Andersen's injury was the biggest moment from what was a cagey first half.
Igor Jesus had a great chance to put Forest in the lead but only managed to fire over from close range.
Meanwhile, Sasa Lukic wasted a decent opportunity for Fulham, Green said on Sky Sports: "It's a poor finish from Sasa Lukic. He doesn't score many, and he doesn't get forward too often. You can understand why."
However, in stoppage time, Fulham were awarded a penalty after Kevin was fouled by Douglas Luiz.
Raul Jimenez stepped up and sent John Victor the wrong way to make it 1-0 to Fulham.
