Jimmy Bullard had a moment to forget on ITV quiz show Tipping Point after he was asked a football-related question.
The former Wigan, Fulham and Hull City midfielder, who made over 300 appearances across a 15-year playing career, came up against comedienne Katherine Ryan in the head-to-head round.
Coming into his cameo on the popular quiz show, Bullard must have been hoping for some topical questions.
So when presenter Ben Shephard asked which country won the European Championships in 2016 and the Eurovision song contest in 2017 for the first time, many expected the man who presented Soccer AM to deliver.

But in a slightly embarrassing sequence, Bullard struggled to answer. "Believe it or not, I’m not 100%,” he told Shephard, who also looked surprised by his lack of knowledge. "Ben, this is so embarrassing!"
As seen in the footage above, Bullard eventually settled on Italy after ruling out four-time winners Spain and Germany, a team he knew were "far too good" prior to the 2016 tournament in France.
Throwing his head down onto his podium, the former Peterborough midfielder looked down as Shephard called out the correct answer, which is, of course, Portugal.
“Of course it was," said Bullard, who must have been kicking himself. "I go to Portugal every year.”
Here's how fans on social media reacted to the clip.
One said: "To be fair Portugal were forgettable during that tournament, they were awful," while another commented: "How you could have played football professionally and not know that is just criminal."
A third added: "I'd get it if it was something obscure like who won the Greek league for the first time in 2016, but how can you be an ex footballer and pundit in football and not know that."
Jimmy Bullard left podcast host speechless after revealing highest wage he earned during career
Bullard, a regular on YouTube show Golf Life alongside Tubes and his brother Ange, has appeared on numerous podcasts since hanging up his boots, including Joe Marler's Things People Do show.

Here, the pair spoke about a number of subjects, including player insights and hilarious moments, as well as footballer wages – a discussion point that left former Harlequins player Marler in a state of disbelief.
Marler began the segment by asking: "In your heyday, what were you on as a footballer?".
Bullard responded: "My biggest contract was £50,000 a week", which brought a moment of silence from the former England rugby international. Looking visibly shocked by the revelation, he eventually replied: "£50k a week?!"
