Germany have announced their final 26-man squad for Euro 2024 - with manager Julian Nagelsmann deciding to cut one player from his squad.

The hosts took the unusual step of naming 27 players in their provisional squad, with other countries, such as England, moving up to 33.

While Gareth Southgate had some tricky decisions to make on Thursday before announcing his final lineup, Nagelsmann's task has been made slightly easier.

And he has decided to leave his outfield positions intact ahead the tournament.

The former RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich boss has decided to omit one of his four goalkeepers, with Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nubel the unlucky player to miss out.

Two Premier League players have been named in the final squad, with Arsenal's Kai Havertz and Brighton's Pascal Gross set to be involved in their home nation.

Champions League winners Real Madrid have two representatives in Antonio Rudiger and Toni Kroos, the latter of whom will retire from professional football at the end of the tournament.

Barcelona also have two players included - Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Ilkay Gundogan - while Bayern Munich have six players going to Euro 2024, including 2010 World Cup Golden Boot winner Thomas Muller and Manuel Neuer.

The final Germany squad named by Nagelsmann is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona), Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim)

Defenders: Waldemar Anton, Maximilian Mittelstadt (both Stuttgart), Benjamin Henrichs, David Raum (both RB Leipzig), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Robin Koch (Frankfurt), Antonio Rudiger (Real Madrid), Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund), Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen)

Midfielders: Robert Andrich, Florian Wirtz (both Bayer Leverkusen), Chris Fuhrich (Stuttgart), Pascal Gross (Brighton), Ilkay Gundogan (Barcelona), Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), Jamal Musiala, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Leroy Sane (all Bayern Munich)

Forwards: Maximilian Beier (Hoffenheim), Niclas Fullkrug (Borussia Dortmund), Kai Havertz (Arsenal), Thomas Muller (Bayern Munich), Deniz Undav (Stuttgart)
