Gary Neville publicly apologised to a Liverpool flop after bumping into him in person on holiday following his 'harsh' comments.
Neville is no stranger to expressing his feelings since becoming one of the leading football pundits following his distinguished career with Manchester United.
But, from time to time, he can be guilty of going too far when sharing his thoughts.
Neville conceded he went too far after he bumped into former Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius in a hotel gym.
Karius came under fire for his infamous showing in goal for Liverpool against Real Madrid in the 2017/18 Champions League final, where he committed a series of huge blunders.
The German stopper received huge backlash from fans and critics alike, with Neville admitting he regrets his part in the pile-on.

"Liverpool were getting better under Jurgen Klopp and I remember saying that they’ll never ever win the league with that guy [Karius] in the net.
"It’s a strong line for a young goalkeeper. It was probably true five months later back in the Champions League final."
The Man United legend added by recalling an encounter with Karius whilst on holiday in Italy.
"One time I went to Italy and went to a hotel. I walked into the gym for a session and there was just this big bloke lifting massive weights - it was Karius," he revealed.
"He could have done many things there and could have had a go at me. It went right through my head on what I said about him, and I know he would’ve known that.
"But he said, 'Nice to see you' and I felt guilty bumping into someone I’ve given a harsh line to."
Karius was shipped out on loan following his disastrous showing in net before being sold to Newcastle United.
