The Fulham squad seemed to be in agreement when they were asked what's the easiest position to play in football.

Fulham, who secured a top half finish in the Premier League table last season, have reported for pre-season ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.

And upon arriving at the club for pre-season training, the club's stars were asked what's the easiest position to play in football?

Carlos Vinícius, Joao Palhinha, Bernd Leno, Tim Ream, Tyrese Francois, Andreas Pereira, Tom Cairney, Issa Diop, Antonee Robinson, Kevin Mbabu, Kenny Tete and Tosin Adarabioyo all weighed in - with most players in agreement.

Vinicius, Palhinha, Francois, Cairney, Robinson, Mbabu and Tete all said centre-back.

What's the easiest position to play in football, according to Fulham's centre-backs? Well, Ream and Diop both said goalkeeper while Adarabioyo said right-back.

Needless to say, the video of the Fulham players being asked what's the easiest position to play in football sent social media wild.

One Twitter user wrote: "Good they’re all saying centre-back as we only have about 2 so at least we know all the team can cover there."

A second tweeted: "Centre back if Joao is the team, hardest without him."

A fifth commented: "I hope they can all play CB."

Marco Silva has no shortage of options should he face a centre-back crisis, with many of his players thinking it's the easiest position to play.
