France U21s vs England U21s in the ‘most expensive youth game of all time’ and both squads are stacked

England U21s are taking on France U21s in a friendly clash.

The match between the France U21s and England U21s is being billed as the most expensive youth game in history.

On Friday night, all eyes are on Wembley as Thomas Tuchel takes charge of his first match as England boss.

However, the young Three Lions are also in action as they take on France U21s in a mouth-watering friendly clash.

Both countries are blessed with a huge group of young talents and the match could be one of the most expensive youth games of all time due to the players' transfer values.

Writing on social media, Rising Ballers said: "France U21s vs England U21s tonight. The most expensive U21 game EVER. Combined squad values of almost £1Billion. Most of these players on this pitch could be playing for the senior side & wouldn’t look out of place. This one’s gonna be crazy."

According to transfermarkt, France U21s vs England U21s is in fact the most valuable U21 match of all time, with a combined squad value of €977 million.

The previous record was held by Italy U21s vs Spain U21s back in 2019, which had a combined value of €853 million.

The likes of Harvey Elliott, Liam Delap, Jobe Bellingham and Jarrad Branthwaite are set to play a part in Lee Carsley's team.

Meanwhile, the French have the likes of Rayan Cherki, Hugo Ekitike, Castello Lukeba and Enzo Millot in their ranks.
