Fans spotted a moment during France vs Germany that ‘settled’ comparisons surrounding Rayan Cherki and Florian Wirtz.
Wirtz, 22, and Cherki, 21, have both been linked with moves to the Premier League this summer.
The German international has been the subject of interest from Liverpool, while Cherki is on Manchester City’s radar.

On Sunday, the pair went head-to-head during France’s 2-0 win in the UEFA Nations League third-place match in Stuttgart, Germany.
Both started the fixture, but fans think one man came out on top after footage of a moment during the game left the other red-faced.
While France were on the attack, the Lyon man attempted to free himself of pressure and spun away from Pascal Groß before he encountered Wirtz, but this was no issue for Cherki as he nutmegged his opponent, causing fans to react on social media.
One fan said: "Can't wait for Wirtz to sign for Liverpool and Cherki for City lol my star is going to work on it so much."

Another added: "Cherki, is that what you're doing to Wirtz?"
A third commented: "Cherki vs Wirtz debate already ended before the season has started."
While a fourth explained: "Wirtz starts, Germany lost again. Cherki starts, France win."
Wirtz now boasts 31 caps for his country, while Cherki, now on two caps, only made his France debut in the 5-4 defeat against Spain, during which he scored, on Thursday.

So, will Cherki sign for Man City?

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, a deal could soon be completed.
Speaking on his YouTube channel on Saturday, Romano said: "My expectation is that over the weekend this is going to get sorted and then the player, early next week, will do his medical and will travel with the Man City squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.

“That’s the mission for the boy. Man City are in a rush on the player too.”
Will Liverpool sign Florian Wirtz?
Liverpool have made no secret of their desire to sign the Bayer Leverkusen man this summer.
The Reds initially offered £109m according to The Times. A second offer, worth around £113m, was then put to the Bundesliga side but they still reportedly value the player at around the £126m mark.
