Erling Haaland has reacted after Kylian Mbappe had to wait more than three minutes to take a penalty in Thursday's World Cup quarter-final between France and Morocco.
Mbappe was visibly frustrated with Argentine referee Facundo Tello and the VAR officials, after he was forced to wait three minutes and 10 seconds before being able to take the resulting spot-kick.
The 27-year-old won the penalty after Manchester United's Noussair Mazraoui fouled him in the box but those behind the scenes in Dallas were perhaps unsure about the contact as a lengthy VAR check followed.
Eventually, Tello and his team made up their minds, although Mbappe's tame effort was saved by Morocco's penalty specialist Yassine Bounou.

Moments later, the Frenchman threw his arms in the air and appeared to shout towards the referee.
The lengthy wait became a big talking point on social media. In fact, Norway striker Erling Haaland got involved in the conversation, posting a picture of the incident on Snapchat alongside the caption: "Need to wait 5 mins to take a penalty is way too long."

Roy Keane, who was on punditry duty for ITV, was also critical.
"It is unfair, it's a pressure situation, why does he have to wait for over three minutes? It's unfair, even for these world-class players," he said. "Time is the enemy for the striker, it almost gives the advantage back to the team who conceded the penalty. It's not right."
FIFA's decision to appoint five match officials from Argentina explained
All five on-site match officials, including the fourth official and the reserve assistant referee, were from Argentina, a circumstance that made headlines in the build-up to Thursday's match in Boston.
Fans have raised question marks about FIFA's decision on social media, and while it is the first occasion of a match being taken charge of by a single nation of officials, it has been commonplace during the World Cup for referees and their assistants to each be from the same nation.
For example, England's 3-2 win over Mexico in the last 16 was overseen by a trio of Australian referees, and three French officials were appointed to Argentina's 3-2 win over Egypt on Tuesday, with a further two officials in the VAR room.
FIFA's decision over referee appointments for France versus Morocco was made on Monday, before Argentina's clash with Egypt.
