England are through to the last 16 stage of the World Cup after their 2-1 comeback win over DR Congo in Atlanta.
Thomas Tuchel's side avoided becoming the third European nation to be eliminated from the World Cup in the round of 32, after Germany and Netherlands.
DR Congo opened the scoring on seven minutes through forward Brian Cipenga, who took a touch inside the penalty area before firing the ball past Jordan Pickford at his near post.
As the clock ticked towards full-time, England looked as if they were going to be on the plane home after a significantly under-par performance.

But captain Harry Kane placed a header from Anthony Gordon's cross beyond the impressive DR Congo goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi to get the Three Lions believing again on 75 minutes.
And it was Kane at the double 11 minutes later when he fired a fierce right-footed shot into the roof of the net to give England the lead.
The Three Lions will now face a fiendish last 16 test against Mexico at the Estadio Azteca - in Mexico City.
But for now, the focus tonight will be on the most dramatic of victories - and here is how we rated all 15 England players to take to the pitch in Atlanta.
England vs DR Congo player ratings
Jordan Pickford - 4
Got a hand to Cipenga's opener and should have kept it out. Didn't do anything else wrong but the focus will be on that one moment.
Djed Spence - 4
Got drawn inside - in his defence, he was covering his centre-backs - in the move that led to the opening goal and found himself out of position. Didn't appear to enjoy defending against Cipenga. Tuchel was visibly frustrated with him in the second half and took him off for midfielder Eze.
Ezri Konsa - 4
A tough night for the Aston Villa man. Too slow on the ball in possession and less than convincing defensively.
Marc Guehi - 5
His defensive partnership with Konsa looked shaky through most of the night but he was the better of the two.
Nico O'Reilly - 6
Was the most solid of the back four in the first half and didn't do a whole lot wrong. None of the England defence had a night to remember, though.
Declan Rice - 6
Was furious with his team-mates after England conceded but didn't exactly cover himself in glory either. His set-piece radar wasn't quite on point but he mainly did his job as a midfield outlet.
Elliot Anderson - 5
Tidy in possession in midfield but you would have expected more.
Noni Madueke - 5
Was hesitant to take on his left-back early on but caused problems on the occasions when he did. Didn't link up well on the right side with Spence and Tuchel took him off on the hour mark.
Jude Bellingham - 6
Forced three outstanding saves out of Congolese goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi either side of half-time. Not quite at the level of his previous performances but still solid.
Marcus Rashford - 5
Had a shot blocked off the line by Wan-Bissaka and hit the side netting early in the second half. Like Madueke, threatening in spells but not enough often. Lasted an hour before being taken off for Gordon.
Harry Kane - 10
He always delivers. The first goal was inch-perfect; the second goal outstanding. Harry Kane.
Substitutes
Bukayo Saka - 7
Still not quite fit to play a part in a full game but he caused problems down the right against a tiring Congolese backline. Tuchel will be desperately hoping he's good to go for Mexico.
Anthony Gordon - 9
Was brought on to provide more threat down the left and delivered with an inch-perfect cross for Kane. And then assisted again for Kane's second. The question marks around him have gone.
Eberechi Eze - 8
Arguably the sub that has saved England's World Cup (along with Kane). Came on for right-back Spence when England needed more attacking threat and made a vital contribution to the first goal.
John Stones - N/A
On as a late substitute to see out the win but wasn't on long enough to get a rating.
