Club World Cup draw: Holders Man City and Chelsea learn their fate as full draw revealed

The revamped Club World Cup takes place in the United States next year.

The FIFA Club World Cup draw has been completed as Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea have learned their fate.

The new expanded Club World Cup will take place in the United States next year.

The revamped competition will now feature 32 clubs and occur once every four years in contrast to an annual tournament consisting of the top seven teams.

Teams from each of the six international football confederations will be at the Club World Cup.

There will be 12 European clubs taking part in the competition - the highest quota of the confederations, including recent winners Man City, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami, Saudi Pro League outfit Al Hilal and Boca Juniors are among the other sides that have qualified for next year's tournament.

FIFA Club World Cup draw:

GROUP A - Palmeiras, Porto, Al Ahly, Inter Miami

GROUP B - Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Botafogo, Seattle Sounders

GROUP C - Bayern Munich, Benfica, Boca Juniors, Auckland City

GROUP D - Flamengo, Chelsea, Club Leon, Esperance Sportive de Tunisie

GROUP E - River Plate, Inter Milan, Monterrey, Urawa Red Diamonds

GROUP F - Fluminense, Borussia Dortmund, Ulsan, Mamelodi Sundowns

When is the FIFA Club World Cup?

The Club World Cup will take place in the United States in 2025 from June 15 to July 13.

The opening match will be held in Miami's Hard Rock Stadium and the final is set to take place in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.

How does the FIFA Club World Cup work?

The 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four, who will play each other once in a round-robin format.

The top two teams from each group will qualify to the knockout stages.

The competition will have no third-place play-off.
