England fans on social media all made the same complaint just minutes into their Euro 2024 clash against Denmark.

After kicking off their campaign with a victory over Serbia, England took on Denmark as they look to secure their spot in the next round of the tournament.

But things didn't go to plan in the early stages of their Group C fixture.

Several England players, including Kyle Walker, struggled on the Frankfurt pitch, nearly injuring the Manchester City defender.

People online all made the same complaint about the pitch at the Waldstadion.

One X user wrote: "This pitch is cutting up already. That won’t help England. The pitches in this tournament have cut up easily."

A second tweeted: "This pitch @England are playing on is a disgrace. How can you have it cutting up this quickly."

A third added: "The pitch is literally falling apart in this England vs Denmark match."

A fourth said: "What’s with the pitch?? Cutting up all over the place."

Another commented: "Pitch doesn’t look great so far. It cut up when Kyle Walker made a sharp turn then and looks to be playing slow when the players are passing to each other."

Despite the England players struggling on the pitch, Gareth Southgate's side opened the scoring through Harry Kane.
