There are many reasons why a club might place one of their players on the transfer list but it's difficult to find a wilder scandal than what happened with former Croatia star Dino Drpic.
Drpic was capped 30 times by Croatia at youth level and made one appearance for the national team in a friendly against Slovakia in October 2007.
He spent the bulk of his club career with Dinamo Zagreb, spending nine seasons with the most successful club in Croatia.

But his stint came to an end in 2009 and he was sent on loan to German side Karlsruher, who then signed him on a permanent deal.
However, it was a unique set of circumstances which culminated in his departure from the club.
Croatia star was transfer listed after sexual encounter
The defender's ex wife, Nives Celsius, revealed that they had sex on the grass of Dinamo's ground Stadion Maksimir in what was a dream of Drpic's.

Speaking on a Serbian talk show, Celsius, a former Playboy model and singer and actress, said: "Dino had arranged that people should turn on the stadium lights for us and he finally fulfilled his dream of having sex in the middle of a football pitch. It was very naughty."

Dinamo officials soon found out and did not react well to the revelation, with Drpic instantly offloaded and never playing for the club again.
He and Celsius had two children together, Taisa and Leone, but they got divorced in 2014 after nine years of marriage.

After a stint in Germany, Drpic played for AEK Athens in Greece and Ukraine with Volyn Lutsk before returning to Croatia.
He then turned out for Brunei DPMM FC before heading back to his home country.
Drpic had won five five league titles and six Croatian cups with Dinamo but his lewd activities landed him in hot water and took his career into a very different direction.

Drpic was also involved in another bizarre situation where a British couple holidaying in Croatia attempted to take the son he shares with Celsius, mistakenly believing the child to be Madeleine McCann.
"I started getting suspicious when the British woman approached Leone and started chatting with him," Celsius, who is also an author, recalled.
"Suddenly she grabbed him by the arm. However, when I went over she realised my child was a boy and apologised."
