Cristiano Ronaldo has been bizarrely left out of Al Nassr’s promo video ahead of the launch of their new kit for the 23/24 season.

Back in January, Ronaldo ditched European football after his second spell with Manchester United ended bitterly.

Ronaldo then joined Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr as he embarked on a new challenge.

Since signing for the club, it has been reported that around 400 of his shirts have been sold every single day.

However, ahead of Al Nassr’s new kit launch, Ronaldo has been left out of the promo video. You can watch the footage below.

New signings such as Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles and Seko Fofana were all included but Ronaldo was nowhere to be seen.

Fans were quick to react on social media.

One said: “No Ronaldo I notice. Wonder what that means.”

Another tweeted: “Where is Ronaldo?”

A third fan added: “Reckon Ronaldo told them pay me another 100 mil or I'm dodging.”

Someone else wrote: “Ronaldo too important for kit launches now? Weird considering that all Al-Nassr sell is Ronaldo shirts.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “Very strange to not include Ronaldo, who is the league’s biggest star.”

Ever since Ronaldo’s arrival, Saudi Arabia have been splashing the cash in a bid to lure some of football’s biggest names to the Saudi Professional League.

To date, the likes of Karim Benzema, Roberto Firmino, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly have all joined Saudi Arabian clubs.

In pre-season, Al Nassr have so far won against Alverca and Farense but were thrashed 5-0 by Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo before losing 4-1 to Portuguese club Benfica.

On Tuesday, they drew 0-0 against French giants Paris Saint Germain at the Nagai Stadium in Osaka, Japan.

Up next, Al Nassr will be up against Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan on Thursday.
