According to The Sun, Rooney is set to become the joint-highest-paid celebrity ever to appear on the the show.

The report claims that she will earn an incredible £1.5 million to feature on the three-week long series, the same fee paid to controversial Reform UK politician Nigel Farage last year.

This places here ahead of the second-highest paid celeb, Noel Edmonds, who reportedly earned £600,000 in 2018, and Caitlyn Jenner who is said to have taken home a massive £500,000 in 2019.

Football legend and 2018 king of the jungle Harry Redknapp reportedly matched Jenner's fee in the series before she featured.

As for McGuigan and the rest of the 2024 contestants, the exact fee for each individual is not yet known, but reports claim that they generally receive anything between £30,000 and £900,000, according to reports.
