Manchester United fans have been reacting on social media after seeing what happened to Jadon Sancho during Chelsea's match against Leicester City.

Thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez, Chelsea came away from the King Power Stadium with a 2-1 win over Leicester. Substitute Jordan Ayew halved the deficit in stoppage time from 12 yards.

As a result of the win, Chelsea are currently three points clear of Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Brighton and Hove Albion as they played earlier than their closest rivals.

During the match, Chelsea man Sancho was brought on in the 85th minute, replacing Noni Madueke, who received criticism from fans after a below-par performance.

Shortly after Sancho was introduced, United fans flocked to social media to make the same point.

One fan said: "Jadon Sancho still doesn't start games for Chelsea, people said we got robbed btw."

Another tweeted: "Sancho warming the bench again, is it?"

A third fan added: "Nothing has changed for Sancho."

Someone else wrote: "Sancho should’ve gone to Dortmund."

A fifth commented: "Ahhh I see Sancho is still warming bench and getting the odd minute, but yeah it was United's fault...."

Back in the summer, Sancho left United to move to Stamford Bridge on a season-long loan deal.

Since arriving, the 24-year-old has only managed six appearances in the Premier League, scoring zero goals but does have three assists to his name.

Speaking after the match, Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana said: "After the international break it is a bit harder. Some players only came back yesterday. We played well and we won the game which is the most important thing. The job is done. We have the three points.

"We like this pressure, we play for this and to finish at the top. We try to win every game to stay high. It felt great to come back here, two incredible years here."
