A statement via their website read: “The 2025 UEFA Super Cup will kick off at 21:00 CET on Wednesday 13 August 2025.
“The 2025 UEFA Super Cup will be held at Stadio Friuli in Udine, Italy.
“Home of Italian Serie A club Udinese, was one of six venues for the 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. It hosted four games in all, including Spain's victory over Germany in the final.

“This venue will be the 13th to stage the UEFA Super Cup since the fixture switched from its long-term home of Monaco, after Prague (2013), Cardiff (2014), Tbilisi (2015), Trondheim (2016), Skopje (2017), Tallinn (2018), Istanbul (2019), Budapest (2020), Belfast (2021), Helsinki (2022), Piraeus (2023) and Warsaw (2024).”
And despite the city of Udine boasting classic Italian architecture, museums and views of the Carnic Alps, fans are not pleased with the capacity of the stadium.
The stadium has a maximum capacity of around 25,144.
Fans were quick to give their thoughts on social media.

One said: "A capacity of just 25,000. Good luck getting a ticket for that through the club allocation."
Another added: "By the way, why do they not play the winner of the Conference League."
A third explained: "So, the UEFA Super Cup final will be played in a stadium that holds 25,000. Hmmmmmm."

While a fourth joked: "Why is it being held at the Brentford stadium?"
Of course, Spurs supporters are used to their state-of-the-art 62,850 capacity stadium while Inter and PSG also play in iconic stadiums - San Siro and Parc des Princes - with capacities of 75,000 and 48,000 respectively.
