Ex-Manchester United and England goalkeeper Ben Foster has revealed that Nike athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo have access to a 'secret' website.

Foster, 41, retired from professional football back in 2023 after playing for clubs such as United, Watford, Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion and Wrexham.

He originally retired in 2022 but was lured by former club Wrexham to make an emotional return to the game.

On the international stage, the goalkeeper was capped eight times by England.

In recent years, Foster has been telling stories from his playing days on his podcast - The Fozcast.

Last year, Foster was asked about his relationship with sports brand Nike during his career.

The Englishman went on to speak about a so-called "secret" website that requires a login and password to enter.

Ben Foster speaks about 'secret' website only Nike athletes can access

He said: "You all get given a rep. Normally, it's somebody that would look after the football club, so that one guy would come in once every month, or when there's new releases.

"He would go around all the Nike athletes and would basically show them the new boot, showing them what's coming up and asking if they need anything."

Foster added: "There is a secret website for Nike athletes, where they will have a login and password. They can go on and basically just order what they want.

"They've all got an account which will be credited with a load of money and they just get to dig in. It's pretty cool, to be fair."

In recent years, the likes of Ronaldo, Vinicius Jr, Rodri, Lauren James, Leah Williamson and Marcus Rashford have all been seen wearing Nike boots.

Portuguese legend Ronaldo has been with Nike since 2016 and he is one of their most influential athletes.

In addition, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has had many exclusive CR7 boots created just for him.
