Cristiano Ronaldo has access to a secret website where he can order products galore for absolutely no charge.

Manchester United legend Ronaldo is the face of the Nike football brand and has been for a number of years now.

He penned a lifetime deal with the American sportswear giants in 2016 and has sported more than 70 different pair of Nike boots during his glittering career.

In fairly recent times Ronaldo has courted controversy for sporting trainers which are not Nike, having been spotted wearing Asics and Feethit.

However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner does get a load of freebies from Nike - with athletes contracted given access to a whole range of products.

Former United, Watford, West Brom and Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster was with Nike for a large part of is 23-year career and explained how the process works

"You all get given a rep," Foster said on the Fozcast podcast he hosts.

"Normally, it's somebody that would look after the football club, so that one guy would come in once every month, or when there's new releases."

This was how things were done in the past though and as technology advanced, athletes were given logins and passwords for a confidential website where they could use up credit.

"It's all changed now though," Foster added.

"There is a secret website for Nike athletes, where they will have a login and password. They can go on and basically just order what they want.

"They've all got an account which will be credited with a load of money and they just get to dig in. It's pretty cool, to be fair."

Ronaldo's contract with Nike is said to be worth a whopping $1 billion over a decade, thus meaning he pockets around £147 million per year in addition to various other endorsements from other sectors.

His Al Nassr salary is believed to the highest in the world, coming in at £177-million-a-year with the Saudi Pro League outfit.
