Having enjoyed a hugely successful 18-year career at the very top of European football, Patrick Vieira has played alongside some of the best in the game.

With time spent at AC Milan, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Manchester City, former midfielder Vieira played with teammates such as the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Ballon d'Or winners Luis Figo and Fabio Cannavaro.

The best years of his career arguably came at Arsenal, where he won three Premier League titles and four FA Cups - captaining the side under Arsene Wenger.

Speaking on the latest episode of Stick to Football, brought to you by Sky Bet, Vieira was asked to name his dream five-a-side team of former teammates.

And he named an unbeatable side.

"Definitely Dennis Bergkamp, Zinedine Zidane, I would go for Claude Makelele because you need people to run, and I would play Thierry Henry up front," said Vieira.

Bergkamp played with Vieira at Arsenal for ten years, with both men part of the legendary invincible Arsenal team from the 2003/04 Premier League season.

Having appeared together in a staggering 285 matches, the Frenchman was the most common teammate of Bergkamp throughout his 20-year career.

Meanwhile, Zidane and Makelele played with the midfielder when representing the French national team.

Zidane, perhaps the greatest French player of all time, is one of only seven footballers to win the Champions League both as a player and as a manager, both with Real Madrid.

And Makelele despite playing for local rivals Chelsea, earned the respect of Vieira after his abilities as a defensive midfielder helped the London club win six trophies in five years.

The final name on Viera’s team sheet was eight-time footballer of the year winner, Thierry Henry.

As captain of both teams, Viera played alongside Henry with Arsenal and France, winning several Premier League trophies, including the invincible season, and the World Cup together.
