Arsenal are reportedly lining up the signing of a Champions League winner in a bid to bolster their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign.

As the 2025/26 season approaches its final third, Mikel Arteta’s side could still possibly win the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup and, in doing so, achieve a historic first for an English team.

Of course, as good as Arsenal have been this term, the prospect of winning all four trophies on offer is unlikely.

Winning a first Premier League title since 2003/04 will no doubt be the priority for those associated with Arsenal, as the Gunners currently lead the English top flight by seven points, having played one more game than second-placed Manchester City.

Meanwhile, the sides will face each other in the Carabao Cup final on 22 March.

Despite having it all to play for this term, Arsenal’s hierarchy are seemingly already looking to the future and this summer’s transfer window.

As reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Paris Saint-Germain and Georgia winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a top target, with the north London club’s board looking to make a statement to the rest of the Premier League.

The 25-year-old arrived at PSG from Serie A side Napoli in January 2025 before going on to help the French side win Ligue 1, the Coupe de France, the Champions League and the Trophée des Champions.

In his first season, the Georgian registered eight goals and eight assists in 32 appearances.

This term, he has contributed nine goals and six assists, although PSG have appeared off the pace in recent weeks, losing 3-1 at home to Monaco on Friday (6 March).

Arsenal reportedly see the player as someone who can link well with Bukayo Saka and Viktor Gyökeres in attacking areas, while boasting the dribbling and technical ability to unlock the best defensive units.

Fichajes also claims that tensions have arisen in the PSG dressing room in relation to Kvaratskhelia’s on-field decision-making and overall goal-scoring numbers. The winger, who earns £363,000 per week, is reportedly valued at around £79 million and is contracted to PSG until the summer of 2029.

It is unclear whether the player is keen on moving to Arsenal.
