Arsenal fans have been reacting on social media after seeing Kai Havertz's body transformation ahead of the new campaign.

After falling short in all competitions in the 24/25 season, the Gunners are looking to finally break their Premier League drought in the upcoming campaign.

So far, Mikel Arteta has added Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard to his squad, with the likes of Cristhian Mosquera, Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze and Rodrygo also linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

This week, Arsenal players returned to training as they gear up for their pre-season tour, which will take place in Asia.

Taking to social media, fans have been reacting after seeing a picture of Havertz.

One supporter has compared the German's physicality from two years ago, stating that Havertz has become much stronger.

The fan wrote: "2 years separate these two pictures and impressive to see the way Kai Havertz evolved physically."

Another tweeted: "Man’s locked in."

A third fan added: "This coming season will be a defining one for him."

Someone else wrote: "Why does it feel like Kai Havertz will cook this season."

A fifth commented: "Man is like a giant now. I love it. Hopefully he will also improve on his goal output."

Another fan said: "Kai looks very determined............ The signing of Gyokeres will improve him as well."

During the 24/25 season, Havertz managed to register 15 goals and five assists in 36 matches across all competitions.

The 26-year-old was the Gunners' top scorer in the Premier League, despite only scoring nine goals.

Since joining Arsenal from Chelsea for a reported fee of £65 million in the summer of 2023, Havertz has so far scored 29 goals in 87 matches.
