A celebrity car dealer has sparked a huge amount of speculation about Arsenal's transfer window activity after he posted a "live supercar deal" on TikTok.

George Gehdu, who has over 112,000 followers on the video sharing platform, uploaded a two-minute conversation with a client who was working on behalf of a footballer based in Germany.

The person in question said the player is moving to the UK "in the next couple of weeks" and is "looking for a vehicle for himself and his missus".

Having discussed details around the model of car, a curious Gehu wanted to know the reason behind his move but proceeded to bleep out the answer.

However, people are convinced that Arsenal were mentioned as the client mentioned finding a house after Euro 2024.

Arsenal have been linked with a number of Bundesliga players of late, including Bayern Munich captain Joshua Kimmich, who could leave the Allianz Arena this summer.

Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg says Kimmich can leave Bayern with a suitable offer and there are currently no plans regarding a contract extension beyond 2025.

A separation between Kimmich and Bayern is "getting closer", according to the report, although he only wants to join Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Arsenal have also been linked with Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong this summer, and expressed an interest in Netherlands international Xavi Simons, who is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain in another loan move.

Former Arsenal centre-back William Gallas believes Kimmich would be an excellent signing for the Gunners.

“Joshua Kimmich is the perfect replacement for Thomas Partey. He can also play in midfield and right-back and I think if he signs for Arsenal he will play in the middle," he told the Gambling Zone.

“He has the quality and experience to add a lot to Arsenal. He will need to adapt to the Premier League and I think he has the quality to do it - given what he’s done for Bayern in his career.

“Kimmich is technically very good and him in a midfield with [Declan] Rice could be something special for Arsenal.”
