Arsenal fans have spotted Ben White’s reaction to Bukayo Saka’s goal against Bayern Munich.

The Gunners claimed a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in a pulsating Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Emirates Stadium.

Saka gave Mikel Arteta’s side an early lead with a well taken curled finish into the far corner, only for former Gunner Serge Gnabry to equalise soon afterwards.

Harry Kane, who was booed on his return to north London, went on to coolly convert a penalty for his 15th goal in 20 games against Arsenal, after Leroy Sane was fouled in the box by William Saliba.

But the hosts found a leveller when Leandro Trossard clinically swept home after good work from Gabriel Jesus.

After the game a clip emerged of the Arsenal players’ ecstatic celebration after Saka’s opener. White fed the 22-year-old with a diagonal pass, with the winger then curling a wonderful finish into the far corner beyond the full-stretched Manuel Neuer.

Saka subsequently wheeled away to the corner, with the likes of Jorginho, Kai Havertz and Jakub Kiwior all joining the animated celebration.

Fans have noted White’s more measured response, with the 26-year-old calmly walking over to the huddle of players. You can watch it above.

Writing about incident on X, one fan said: “Arsenal players reaction when Saka scored then there’s Ben White. He’s not normal.”

A second said: “He would give same reaction even after winning the pl. I'm waiting.”

A third said: “Don’t think he likes playing football to be honest.”

A fourth said: “Benny Blanco’s a wild one.”

While Arsenal had most of the possession, six-time winners Bayern were a constant threat on the break throughout the game. Indeed, Kingsley Coman had a close-range shot against the post in the 90th minute.

Moments later Saka had a penalty appeal turned down dispute contact in the box with Neuer.
