Fans have been saying the same thing after Kai Havertz’s performance during Arsenal’s clash against Brentford.

After Sunday’s pulsating 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the North London Derby, Arsenal were back in action on Wednesday night as they took on Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

Summer signing Havertz, who joined the Gunners from Chelsea in a deal worth a reported £65 million was given a chance to ignite his Arsenal career.

It has been a tough start to life at Arsenal for Havertz as he has struggled to make a positive impact in Mikel Arteta’s side.

In recent matches, the German has been dropped to the bench as Arteta has been picking Fabio Vieira.

Areta has also publicly defended Havertz after his disappointing start to life with the Emirates club.

Against Brentford, Havertz again produced an underwhelming performance.

On social media, Arsenal fans have been showing their displeasure over Havertz’s performance.

One said: “We told you about Havertz, he is not good enough, yall we just keep waiting.”

Another tweeted: “I’m sorry but Havertz is not good enough, he looks lost.”

A third fan added: “I really don't know when Kai Havertz will gain this confidence people are talking about.”

Someone else wrote: “Kai Havertz is so devoid of confidence that he's reduced himself to just playing a one-two touch pass to the next player, so afraid to lose the ball, not taking any risk.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “Kai Havertz has no confidence with anything he’s doing on that field. The passes don’t have conviction, dribbling no conviction, it’s tough to watch.”

Reiss Nelson's goal in the eighth minute was enough as Arsenal sealed a narrow 1-0 win over the Bees to advance to the next round.
