Scottish side Hamilton Academical have sacked Bobby Bulloch after the commentator admitted to going for a "jobby" at half-time while live on-air.

Bulloch worked on the club's 2-1 loss to Ross County on Tuesday evening and revealed too much information about his half-time loo trip.

While chatting to co-commentator Tony Haggerty he let slip he'd gone for "a wee jobby" at the interval while claiming he had to "squeeze quite a bit."

He said per The Sun: "So sorry about that...I hadn't pressed the button, I went away for a jobby at half-time, excuse my term of language.

"I've not pressed the wee button when I came back. So apologies to anybody who hasn't heard me this second half."

Haggerty then intervened and replied: "Are you speaking in rhyming vernacular there? Apologies if you deem that bad language viewers."

Bulloch hit back with: "Yeah, sorry, it was just a wee bit of poop and I was a wee bit late back over because I had to squeeze quite a bit...

"Sorry, I'll just change the subject and get back to the match but I forgot to press my wee button, so I'm delighted to be back."

The game aired live on Accies' pay-per-view service and their hierarchy were left in shock.

An official statement read: "A contractor used by the club on summarising/co-commentary duties overstepped the mark this evening with a very poor attempt at humour.

"The club didn't find this funny and the person will not be used again. Our apologies for this."

To top it all off, Bulloch had already arrived late for the game after originally turning up at Ibrox - thinking Hamilton were taking on Rangers.
