Eden Hazard's transfer value has reduced by a massive €90 million since joining Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Belgian international secured his dream move from Chelsea last summer in a deal worth around £100 million.

It was off the back of a campaign that saw Hazard win the Europa League with 'The Blues' and transfermarkt rated him as a €150 million player.

His time in Madrid hasn't gone to plan however and thanks to rotten luck with injury, the 29-year-old's value has plummeted to €60 million.

Since arriving in August 2019, Hazard has played 22 games for the club and scored one goal, while missing 35 due to numerous injuries.

Rumours emerged he'd returned for pre-season overweight yet again, but the former PFA Player of the Year hit back with an intense training video.

But he'd go on to get injured again and he hasn't played a game this season.

While some have sympathy for Hazard and want to see him back to his sparkling best, members of the media in Spain haven't been as kind.

Tomas Roncero slammed Hazard in a column for AS, accusing him of a lack of commitment.

He vented: "And the problem is not his ankle. It is because of his lack of commitment during the summer break period, after which he returned the same way he arrived last summer when he signed for what we believed to be the team of his "dreams" - overweight and totally out of shape. There is no other way to put it.

"You have to watch clips of him in 'blue' to enjoy his talent. Because in 'white' we only know that he has a high-risk ankle and chronic problems getting into shape. I feel cheated and frustrated by his lack of commitment.

"Being a Madrid player is not a joke but Hazard's situation is becoming a big one."

Former 'Los Blancos' star Clarence Seedorf recently admitted Hazard could take up the mantle from Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the worlds best, as long as he stays motivated.

"We have [Eden] Hazard, I always said that Hazard easily can be there but it's about are you motivated to be the best?" he told Goal.
