Bruno Fernandes reportedly wants Manchester United to sign two new players and they'd transform them into a title-winning side.

Fernandes has become United's standout player since arriving from Sporting CP in 2020 and he's close to signing a bumper new contract.

The Portuguese midfielder allegedly wants some guarantees before signing a deal worth around £200,000-a-week.

Per The Sun, he believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should look at bringing in a new central defender as well as holding midfielder who is comfortable with the ball at his feet.

The Mirror have come to the conclusion that Sevilla centre back Jules Kounde and West Ham midfielder Declan Rice would be perfect fits.

Both players have been linked with moves in the past but would cost a pretty penny this summer.

Kounde starred for the Spanish side in their Europa League winning campaign last season, in which they defeated United at the semi-final stage.

This season has seen the Frenchman once again establish himself as one of Europe's top prospects.

In the case of Rice, he's helped West Ham challenge for European places while remaining an England regular.

The 22-year-old was linked with a move to Chelsea in January but a move never failed to materialised.

Former manager Frank Lampard was said to be a big fan, but Thomas Tuchel's arrival has seen those links die down.

David Moyes doesn't want to lose Rice either, who is viewed as one of the Hammers' most important players.

He's currently out nursing an injury but is expected to return for a clash with Brighton on Saturday evening.

Paul Pogba's Old Trafford future is also set to play a key role in Fernandes re-signing.

The Sun claim he is keen to see what happens with Pogba's future as he believes he is a key player for the Red Devils.

Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has been vocal when it comes to his client's future and the World Cup winner's current deal expires in 2022.

Should he choose to leave, it'd be a blow to Fernandes who has struck up a close bond with his teammate on and off the pitch.

"I think, on the pitch, there is still to come the best for both of us. We can do much better together," Fernandes told United's official website per The Mirror.

"I think we are doing better now because people and players are concerned about who they might mark - we have Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes in the same places, the same pockets.

"Sometimes it is difficult for players to find who to mark and who to give freedom and so it's good for the team. That is the best for us because we know we can help the team playing together.

"I think when you play with the best, your best comes out."
