Borussia Dortmund have insisted there is 'no chance' Jadon Sancho leaves the club this summer - despite Manchester United's interest.

The 20-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer and many thought personal terms had been agreed.

However, Jan Aage Fjortoft has reported Dortmund say it is 'set in stone' that Sancho doesn't leave Germany this summer.

The Norwegian journalist also revealed that United are yet to make a bid for the winger.

He goes on to add that he is unsure of United's current strategy while Dortmund aren't interested in getting as much money for Sancho, but more interested in keeping him.

The England international won't be rocking the boat with his current side either, and doesn't want to 'do an Ousmane Dembele and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.'

Dembele and Aubameyang both pushed hard for moves to Barcelona and Arsenal respectively, with the former even refusing to turn up for training.

Sancho is currently away with Dortmund for pre-season training and director Michael Zorc insisted earlier this week that he will not be sold.

"We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final. I think that answers all our questions," he stated.

"Last summer we adjusted the salary to the performance development of Jadon. In this context, we have extended the contract until 2023."

Dortmund midfielder Axel Witsel is also convinced Sancho will remain at Signal Iduna Park a little while longer.

"He stays and we are all happy," the Belgian told Sky Sports per Goal. "Last year and the first year when I came he's been one of the most important players offensively for our team.

"This is really good news for us to keep him - at a minimum - one more season."
