There is something not quite right at Old Trafford this summer. Despite finishing runners-up in the Premier League and reaching the final of the F.A Cup, the Red Devils appear to be undergoing a mini crisis.

Liverpool put four past their rivals in a preason friendly game dressed up as a match in competitive tournament: the International Champions Cup. Xherdan Shaqiri got himself on the score-sheet for the Reds with a blissful overhead kick. Liverpool have enjoyed their best transfer window, perhaps ever, while Man United have added to the squad but are still in need of one or two quality players to be anywhere near the league title next season.

It's not all Jose Mourinho's fault, he's been open about the side needing more additi"I would like two more players. I don't think I'm going to have two," he said. "I think it's possible I'm going to have one.

"I gave my club a list of five names a few months ago. I wait to see if it's possible to have one of these players."ons.

The Mirror have now ran an exclusive saying the five players that are in Mourinho's plans:

Toby Alderweireld, Gareth Bale, Fred or Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Alex Sandro or Kieran Tierney, Willian.

Obviously Fred has made the move to Old Trafford but the rest of the names are sure to excite Man United supporters.

But time is running out for the Red Devils, and Mourinho, and the supporters, know it.
