A fan's tweet about Marcus Rashford's stats in comparison to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane has gone viral and it shows how important he is to Manchester United.

Rashford has been one of United's key players this season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have endured a troubling start.

They're unbeaten in three games in all competitions and it seems that they could be ready to put a string of positive results together.

But Rashford has received a lot of stick from United supporters but one fan's tweet shows that the England international is statistically having a very good season.

In fact, when compared to Liverpool forwards Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, the 21-year-old is equaling or bettering them.

Perhaps it's the other players in the United squad who need to provide more.

Rashford scored his 50th goal for Manchester United in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Norwich City and that moved him level on goals with Liverpool duo Salah and Mane.

His lovely backheel assist for Anthony Martial put him at three assists for the season, which is two more than Mane and level with Salah.

It makes for interesting reading considering the praise Liverpool's wingers have been lavished with after their unbeaten start to the season.

The England man also achieved another feat with his strike against 'The Canaries' on Sunday.

He reached 50 goals for United in his 183rd game, meaning he has reached the milestone quicker than club legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who took 188 games to hit the half century mark.

Speaking after the Norwich game, Rashford explained that United need to keep up this scoring form over the rest of the season.

Sunday's game was the first time they'd scored more than one goal in a game since a 4-0 victory over Chelsea back on the opening day of the season.

Per The Daily Mail, he explained to MUTV,

'For me, that's the next step. We're creating and making each other half-chances, but, as forwards, the easier the goals you can get, the better.

'We want to be able to just square it past the goalkeeper and tap it in.

'We've been working hard and I think, if we keep that up, it'll become easier for us.'

Judging by the stats, Rashford is definitely a key man when it comes to United turning their season around.
