Manchester United midfielder Fred pulled off a brilliant roulette against Manchester City and he even managed to fool Kevin De Bruyne.

The two Manchester sides clashed at Old Trafford and while the game itself was a rather drab 0-0, Fred managed to light it up with one bit of quality.

He received the ball in the middle of the park and was immediately closed down by De Bruyne.

Fred then turned away from the Belgian expertly before nutmegging an onrushing Rodri.

The build-up to the game had focused on the midfield battle between Bruno Fernandes and De Bruyne.

But many didn't expect Fred to turn on the style and fans were loving it.

United came into the game after being knocked out of the Champions League by RB Leipzig in midweek, while City defeated Marseille 3-0.

But it was a cagey affair with limited chances and both managers looked content with a point.

One key moment in the second half saw United given a penalty after Marcus Rashford was brought down by Kyle Walker.

However, VAR intervened and showed the England international was offside in the build-up.
