New Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech has already earned a round of applause from manager Frank Lampard for setting up an outrageous goal in training.

Ziyech signed from Ajax back in February and is now eligible to train with The Blues ahead of next season.

Footage of the Moroccan training at Cobham emerged earlier this month but the latest video is the 27-year-old at his best.

He stole the show in a training session featuring players who didn't play in the midweek defeat to Liverpool.

Check out the footage from 4:44 below as well as additional highlights.

Ziyech beautifully scoops the ball into the penalty area as Pedro volleys home with a sweet strike.

In the distance, Lampard can be seen clapping and shouts of 'What a goal!' from coaching staff and teammates can be heard.

Fans were quick to point out Ziyech's contributions and they're very excited to see him at Stamford Bridge next season.

One fan commented: "Damn Ziyech is already dominating our assist league."

A second added: "You can already see the magic touch of Ziyech."

While a third simply stated: "I came here to see Ziyech."

Ziyech will feature in a brand-new Chelsea attack next season, with Timo Werner already signed and a deal for Kai Havertz reportedly close.

He put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the London outfit and discussed the move earlier this year.

"When you are a young guy, you always want to play for a big club, in the Premier League of course," Ziyech told ChelseaTV.

"And when I was young the players that played here. It was always a big club so I'm very happy and it means a lot.

"I can remember I was playing in the youths in Heerenveen and we have some teammates, and he was playing [with Didier] Drogba, Lampard, just all those big names, [John] Terry.

"We were always for Chelsea and look now, if you can play here, it means a lot for me."

He also explained that Chelsea's brand of attacking football suits him as a player and was a huge factor in his decision to join.

"It is a big club in a big competition. I like the style of play, they play really attacking football, and that is something that fits me and that is one of the biggest reasons I chose therefore."

If training footage is anything to go off, Ziyech could add an extra dimension to Chelsea's forward play next season as they look to contend for the title.
