Chelsea have missed Eden Hazard since his departure to Real Madrid - but Blues fans reckon Hakim Ziyech's post-match interview on Saturday had more than a hint of the brilliant Belgian about it.

Ziyech shone as Chelsea thumped Sheffield United 4-1 in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge.

He claimed two assists and created six chances, with the latter the most by a player in a Premier League home game this season.

Ziyech was interviewed following his masterclass and gave off 'Eden Hazard vibes' to Chelsea fans watching at home with his laid-back attitude, clear self-belief and cheeky smile.

After a tricky start to the current campaign, Chelsea have hit form in recent weeks to move into the top four.

They fell behind to David McGoldrick's opener on Saturday, but fought back to win through goals from Tammy Abraham, Ben Chilwell Thiago Silva and Timo Werner.

Although he didn't get on the scoresheet, Ziyech, who joined the Blues for £34m from Ajax earlier this year, was rightly named Man of the Match.

The Moroccan's left foot was the toast of West London after he delivered two teasing deliveries for Chilwell and Silva to net against the Blades. And afterwards he revealed the secret behind his growing relationship with his new teammates.

"I always look at them before I play the ball,' he told Chelsea's official website. "Usually eye contact is enough, and you could see it worked well two times.

"I'm not afraid to give a pass. I feel comfortable here in the squad with all my teammates. I'm really happy and I think that's why I've started so well."

Ziyech's display also earned praised from Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, who said: "He's a top-class player.

"Sometimes you see that from afar but when you work with someone, they impress you even more with their personality.

"He's given us an extra edge and a different threat. He's hit the ground running.

"He gives us a different style in terms of the left foot off the right side. It's not something we've had much of in recent years. The ability to find the last pass or the last cross, to break teams down with a low block.

"His personality has rubbed off. I keep talking about personality - it's a huge thing in football. The signings that we've brought in, a lot of them are bringing a lot on and off the pitch. That's important."

"His confidence that he exudes and how much he wants to receive the ball and be the important player, make that assist, has been a big plus."
