Peter Crouch has defended Steven Gerrard being inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame following massive fan backlash.
The Liverpool legend's inclusion has caused massive backlash online as he is the only man currently inducted to have never won the title.
He has also got in earlier than Manchester United legend Paul Scholes which caused huge drama on social media - but Crouch has put his foot down.

Crouch took to Twitter and said: "People who are saying 'but Steven Gerrard never won the league'... I believe this is about the best players of all time in the league.
"He is one of those."

Fans have responded to Crouch's comment and had their say on 'Stevie G' entering prestigious company.
The Premier League said in their official statement: "After coming through Liverpool's Academy, Steven Gerrard spent 17 years as the driving force of the Merseysiders' midfield in the Premier League.

"Famed for his driving runs, his ability to inspire team-mates and his spectacular strikes from distance, only Frank Lampard has scored more from midfield than Gerrard's 120 goals.
"The Reds' long-serving captain also provided 92 top-flight assists and won six monthly awards in his stellar career."
