Robert Asavoaei Scores Puskas Award Worthy Scorpion Kick In Romanian Third Tier, It Deserves To Be Seen

Robert Asavoaei's scorpion kick for Romanian third tier side Stiinta Miroslava could be a contender for the Puskas Award.

Miroslava were taking on CSM Pascani and were dominant throughout, with Asavoaei's remarkable bit of skill a reason why.

A quick counter attack sees the ball floated into the box but just behind Asavoaei.

What does the 22-year-old do? Flings himself into the air and connects with the ball so sweetly, it flies past the goalkeeper.

Asavoaei actually had a muted celebration and calmly high fived his teammates, ready to get the game going again.

Miroslava ran out 4-0 winners in the end and Asavoaei's goal has got all of Twitter talking.

The 4-0 win has seen Miroslava move to the top of Liga 3 on goal difference.

It isn't the first scorpion kick to be scored this season however.

Patrick Herrmann whipped a cross in from the right and side and the Austrian flung his boot into the air while falling forwards to leave Lukas Hradecky stranded in net.

It only ended up being a consolation however as Marco Rose's side lost the game 4-3.

What do you think the best goal of 2020 has been?
