Jadon Sancho's post-match interview following Borussia Dortmund's 4-0 win over Schalke is going viral - thanks to his very unique accent.

England international Sancho joined Dortmund back in 2017 and it means he moved to Germany aged 17.

He's picked up an accent while living in Europe and fans took notice of it while he spoke to Viaplay Football.

Alongside Erling Haaland, Sancho spoke at length about the game and their relationship on the pitch.

Fans have reacted to to the 20-year-old's tones and some have joked he's 'tried to do a Joey Barton.'

Barton played for French outfit Marseille on loan back in 2012 and attempted to use a French accent in his interviews.

Sancho scored in the game to reach 35 Bundesliga goals at a younger age than anyone in history, 20 years and 332 days.

But the big talking point was Haaland once again netting a brace, with his first goal being an acrobatic scissors kick, assisted by Sancho.

Haaland explained: "I think it's one of my better goals, yes. I think in the Bundesliga it's my best goal.

"It was a nice goal and me and Jadon, we keep finding each other. We have to keep it up and it's a pleasure playing with this guy so it is what it is.

Sancho added: "When I looked up I saw Erling in some space and it was strange for me to see Erling alone.

"I know what he can do on the pitch so I just lifted it up in the air and he's done the rest. Crazy!"

Raphael Guerreiro also got on the scoresheet to seal a dominant victory for the away side.
