Edinson Cavani scored an incredible long range lob to open the scoring for Manchester United against Fulham on Tuesday.
Appearing to come straight from a David De Gea clearance, Cavani picked the ball up on the turn and chipped it over goalkeeper Alphonse Areola.
The first match with fans back in Old Trafford in 2021, supporters went wild after seeing the amazing strike...but wuickly had their celebrations put in doubt thanks to VAR.
It appeared that Cavani was offside when De Gea hit the ball forward. However, according to VAR, the Uruguayan was actually onside as Bruno Fernandes had got a touch on it as it skidded past him in midfield on the way to the striker.

It looks like a stroke of luck for the Red Devils, and may have angered a few Fulham fans. However, at least the supporters at the stadium got the chance to see a excellent goal on their return to the ground.
A lucky break for #MUFC?

Should the goal have stood? Or have United got away with one here? As it stands Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. go in to half time in the lead, and continue to look to build momentum ahead of the Europa League final later this month.
What do you think?
