The release clauses of each Barcelona player has been revealed - and the prices are astonishingly high.
French defender Samuel Umtiti signed a new deal that will see him stay at the Nou Camp for another five years. In the contract, there is a release contract of €500 million - a quite unbelievable fee.
It could be said that Barca are trying to protect their assets, after they got stung last summer. Neymar, one of their most prized possessions was snapped up by then Ligue 1 runners-up Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record €222 million. Ouch.
But it appears the La Liga giants have learnt their lesson and seemingly quadruped their price of players.

Lionel Messi - €700m (until 2021)*
Gerard Pique - €500m (until 2022)*
Sergi Roberto - €500m (until 2022)*
Samuel Umtiti - €500m (until 2023)*
Philippe Coutinho - €400m (until 2023)*
Ousmane Dembele - €400m (until 2022)*
Yep. Despite yesterday's news of Umtiti's ridiculous release clause cost - a price that sent social media into meltdown - the defender is not even in the top three of the list.
Global superstar Messi is, as you'd expect, on top and it would near enough to a billion euros to get the G.O.A.T to your club, despite the Argentina international likely only having a few years left of his prime left.
Wing-back Sergi Roberto was out of sorts this time last year and heavily linked to Manchester United, but his release clause is now astronomically high. He must be doing something right.
And the Spaniard's clause is strangely higher than young French international Dembele and former Liverpool man Coutinho. Their transfers to Barca were agreed to reach a potential of €145 million and €162 million, respectively.
