Wesley Fofana had a priceless reaction when talking about who is faster between Mbappe and Mudryk

A video of Wesley Fofana insisting Mykhailo Mudryk is FASTER than Kylian Mbappe has gone viral on social media.

Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in a transfer worth £88.5 million during the January transfer window.

He made an instant impression when he made a cameo appearance against Liverpool, clocking a top speed of 36.63 km/h.

Naturally, the Ukrainian winger has a tasty pace rating of 94 on FIFA 23, with Fofana claiming he's FASTER than Mbappe.

In a video uploaded by the Premier League club, Carney Chukwuemeka, Benoit Badiashile and the aforementioned Fofana and Mudryk discuss everything FIFA 23.

Asked to predict his pace, Mudryk said: "I am not quick enough. I want 99."

After it was revealed he had a pace rating of 94, Fofana said: "He is so quick."

The 22-year-old defender was then asked if Mudryk is the fastest player he's played against to which he replied: "Yes, of course!"

Fellow French defender Benoit Badiashile weighed in, referencing Mbappe. But Fofana backed his club colleague: "No chance. It's finished."

Needless to say, Chelsea fans online loved Fofana backing Mudryk over Mbappe and reckon he's captain material in the future.

A fourth said: "Love this hype from Wes proper Chels."

Another joked: "Fofana is officially the club's comedian."

Fofana arrived at Stamford Bridge from Leicester City last summer but has only played nine games in all competitions this season.

He recently made his return to the team following his injury and scored his side's winner against Leeds United earlier this month.
