FIFA 23 will include a number of ridiculous post-goal sound effects as part of a new feature.

The game is released on 30 September and slowly but surely, more details have emerged on what is fresh and new in this year's iteration, which will be the final edition before it becomes 'EA Sports FC'.

And in a recent trailer showing the matchday experience in FIFA 23, EA have revealed that a host of new noises are in the game for when you celebrate a goal.

A whole new level of customisation has been added, as players can select sounds such as klaxons, alarms and even the audio of horse going "neigh".

The idea is that these effects will bring a players' personality to life in modes like FIFA Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs and the 'Create a team' mode.

But it could run the risk of bringing back an element of toxicity into the game. A couple of years back, the "shush" celebration was removed and so too was the A-OK, as well as there being a reduction in replays.

Just imagine the utter humiliation of conceding a last minute goal and having to listen to a horse noise sounding off.

In other changes related to the immersive experience, there will be a slew of new cut scenes in and out of the stadium to build up atmosphere, all new crowd members and camera quality.

Extra authenticity has been added with 3D netting and realistic pitches, while players can also choose to listen to the FIFA 23 soundtrack while they play as opposed to hearing commentary from Derek Rae and Stewart Robson.

New celebrations on this year's game include Christian Pulisic's 'Eye of the Tiger,' Diogo Jota's 'Gamer' and the 'Low Five and Flex'.
