FIFA 22 is here and with a new season comes the opportunity to test out your favourite kits that have been released.
Gone are the days of football clubs using the same home, away and third kit for multiple seasons. Football fans now have the excitement of looking forward to a new jersey for every campaign, which also means your FIFA Ultimate Team can look as fresh as possible.
In the history of FIFA Ultimate Team, you have been able to select which kits your players don and FIFA 22 is no different.
You can now see your favourite in game players rep your favourite jerseys in real life. Below, you will see what we think are the top 10 kits in Ultimate Team this year.
FIFA 22 players guides:
In no particular order, first on the list of the best 10 kits in FUT is Ajax’s third kit. Not only because of the beautiful blend of black mixed with red but it is also Bob Marley themed. Ajax partnered with the Marley family which includes three little birds on the top of the back of the shirt. The Jamaican’s hit song, ‘Three Little Birds’, has become a fan-favourite chant which is sung weekly.
Next up is the Manchester United away kit. After taking inspiration from the 1990-92 shirt, United have remade that iconic ‘snowflake’ jersey. Similar to the 90s kit, we feel this may also create its own history, especially with their return of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Now this needs zero explanation. This is what Classic Football Shirts would class as an ‘instant classic’. Particularly with ‘Messi 30’ on the back, and a squad filled with superstars this could be the kit to have in FIFA 22. With the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar – this kit could be the kit to flex, especially if you have a squad worthy.
It wouldn’t be a FIFA 22 best kits article without a mention of the Club America kit. This was an incredibly hard decision whether to include the home, away or third as they’re all worthy of a spectacular. Club America are famous for their beautiful strips and since the LIGA BBVA MX’s introduction into FIFA, Ultimate Team players have become lovers of their jerseys, we get the feeling this year will be no different.
A rather simplistic away shirt for Manchester City this season. But this season, they’ve focused on the finer details. They’ve incorporated a more ‘digital’ style to their shirt in terms of the numbers on the back of the shirt and their shorts. The complexion of a lighter blue/purple suits City’s traditional colours more than their away shirts in the past – for example their black away shirt with maroon sleeves…
VFL Bochum are back in the top-flight in Germany and have thrown it back to the 1980s with their kits for this year. They say their shirt this season combines ‘tradition with a modern design’. If you’re a fan of German football, look no further than this beauty.
Nottingham Forest can definitely consider themselves victorious with this gorgeous away shirt. With the important details remaining red, they’ve integrated a fluorescent pink graphic design.
Real Sociedad may not be notoriously known for football shirts, but this away jersey will go down in history. Its lack of a sponsor on the front is something that football fans crave and it’s easy to see why. The four arrows pointing down looks exceptional and looks like the type of shirt you’d be proud to be seen walking around town with, not just your Ultimate Team! With Macron not being the most famous football shirt makers, they’ve certainly put themselves in the spotlight with this.
If you’re more into your hoops than stripes, then Parma’s away kit is for you. Under the Calcio B category, you can find their brand new away kit which looks stunning with the blue and yellow mix. Parma have also had some wonderful players in their time. Gianluigi Buffon, Gianfranco Zola, Hristo Stoichkov, Hernan Crespo all played for Parma at some point during their legendary careers. And most recently, Paulo Dybala also played for the Italian side before making the switch to Juventus.
The only available kit from the United Emirates League is Al Ain FC’s and what a smashing set of shirts they are.
