Manchester United fans are shaking in their boots watching Manchester City dismantle Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola's side raced into a 2-0 lead in the semi-final at the Etihad on Wednesday night, and were well on their ways to another Champions League final as they bid to win their first title ever.

The Citizens have proved recently they are the best side on the planet, and it appears a matter of time until they finally get their hands on Europe's top club prize.

But that's not the only title they're competing for. On the verge of winning their third Premier League title in a row, City will also face United in the FA Cup final later this month.

Seeing City's performance on Wednesday, United fans on social media were left petrified of what their local rivals could do to them at Wembley.

One fan said: "We’re going to be 3-0 down inside 10 minutes in the FA Cup final."

Another commented:"If City play like this vs United in the FA Cup final, it will be a cricket score, especially given the technical quality we have on the ball and the amazing shot stopper we have. Naaah man, lord have mercy."

A third said: "This city team will eat united alive in the FA Cup final."

United themselves are in a fight to finish inside the Champions League places in the Premier League with Liverpool hot on their heels, but are competing for a domestic double having won the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

Some Red Devils fans remained confident ahead of the game despite City's impressive showing against Madrid.

"Ancelotti and Arteta have failed, it’s up to us to stop this treble," said one optimistic supporter.

"I am a Man United fan, in a one of game final we can beat anyone," another added. "Real Madrid have been absolute rubbish, they are acting like an inferior team."

Again, however, many were not as hopeful, with one supporter even demanding the final doesn't go ahead at all.

"Cancel the FA cup final or something," They said. "We stand no chance at all."
