Arsenal are expecting to announce the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at some point today but the club have accidentally released a video where Arsene Wenger confirms that the deal has already been done, and of course deleted it since.

Happy transfer deadline day everyone! Hope you're celebrating by wearing a yellow tie to work and telling your boss you're on the phone because a players agent is calling you to tell you about his clients movements.

January transfer deadline day is usually the dampest of squibs but this year might be different with numerous high profile signings yet to be concluded and the possibility of Riyad Mahrez moving yet to be decided.

One deal that is expected is the move of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal, heck we already know he arrived in England yesterday afternoon.

Despite the deal not yet being concluded one fan accidentally came across a video where Arsene Wenger casually announced the signing on the club's website:

The deal is taking its time to go through. First of all it was because of long negotiations between the two clubs but now it looks like it's other deals that are holding things up.

Chelsea are hoping to sign Olivier Giroud whilst Dortmund want to replace Aubameyang with a loan move for Michy Batshuayi so all the deals are essentially waiting for each other to happen.

Of course some Arsenal fans will have been hoping that despite being in the country last night the former AC Milan forward was nowhere near a television as the Gunners went down 3-1 to Swansea and put their chances of Champions League qualification in doubt.

The 28 year old Gabon international has scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season and Alexandre Lacazette with nine goals is the Gunners leading league goal scorer so far this term.
