Hugo Lloris made a laughable gaffe to hand Danny Ings an easy goal and put Southampton level during their Premier League game against Spurs.
On a day when Dean Henderson handed Liverpool all three points with a poor attempt at a save, Lloris managed to make the biggest keeping error of the day for Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino's side were a goal up, and a man down, when Lloris took control of the ball from a pass from Toby Alderweireld and went to turn around the on rushing Danny Ings only he left the ball behind him and allowed the striker to muscle in ahead of him and knock the ball into the net.

Spurs were coming into the game at home to Saints off the back of a frustrating week for the north London side. After letting a lead go against Olympiakos 10 days ago in the Champions League they did the same against Leicester City in the league last weekend.
Having lost to the Foxes they faced Colchester United in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night and lost on penalties to leave themselves embarrassed.
Tanguay Ndombele put Pochettino's side ahead against Ralph Hasenhüttl's men before Serge Aurier was sent off for two bookable offences just after the half hour mark.
Eight minutes later Saints were level through Lloris' mistake, much to the annoyance of Spurs' fans.
Hugo Lloris has now made nine errors leading to goals in the Premier League since the start of the 2016/17 season, only Asmir Begović has made more (10).

Talking about a rebuild, our entire back line including the goalkeeper need replacing for different reasons. Toby, Jan and Rose want to leave. Aurier and Lloris aren't reliable anymore. Eriksen is also leaving. We will need a massive rebuild so it'll a tough 2-3 seasons ahead.

What the hell was Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris even thinking, attempting a drag-back two yards from his goal.

Fortunately for the Spurs captain the man who many think should replace him with the armband, Harry Kane, soon put them back ahead before half time.
