Arsene Wenger Still Can't Get Away From 'Wenger Out' Signs

Arsene Wenger Still Can't Get Away From 'Wenger Out' Signs

One of the now infamous signs for the former Arsenal manager has appeared in England's World Cup quarter final against Sweden.

Remember the Premier League? Apparently it's a football competition that happens every year for nine months but that this point I pretty much only remember the World Cup and two fans took the opportunity of England's game with Sweden to remind us of the more mundane.

Football during the normal season is pretty good, we all love it don't we, but this World Cup has made it feel so ridiculously boring it's unreal.

From shocks to last minute goals to penalties dominated by goalkeepers to a shoot-out actually won by England and some crazy throw ins by Iran, this World Cup has been the best, but you know all that.

So just how anyone could imagine going back to a world where we don't have brilliant football games pretty much everyday and would rather think about a world of games every few days, most of which are boring, is beyond me.

But two fans decided that after spending thousands of pounds, no doubt, to go to Russia and finding themselves at England's quarter final against Sweden that they'd unfurl a 'Wenger Out' sign, lord knows why.

Seriously guys, this has long stopped being amusing and it seems to have passed you by but Wenger has left Arsenal and the Gunners will be managed by Unai Emery next season.

In the last couple of seasons the Frenchman came under a lot of criticism from the 'Wenger Out' campaign and it was another poor season for Arsenal leading him to leave the Emirates.

England on the verge of a World Cup semi-final and you bring this nonsense with you, have a word with yourself lads.
