Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has revealed that he has to warn his wife, Rebeca Tavares over her interaction with Reds fans.
The Brazilian midfielder joined Liverpool from French Ligue 1 side Monaco back in 2018. Since his move to Merseyside, he has established himself as a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s side. Under the guidance of the German, Fabinho has developed into one of the best midfielders in world football.
Whilst Fabinho has made a name for himself on the pitch, his stunning wife, Rebeca has made an impression amongst the Anfield faithful off the pitch.

The 27-year-old is a hugely popular figure not just because of her looks but also her passionate posts about the club. She has always been vocal on social media since Fabinho first moved to Liverpool, and this had led to the player having to warn his wife over her posts.
Fabinho spoke to The Athletic and revealed that he knew very little about his wife’s interaction with Liverpool fans.
He said: “I’ve heard about this. I’m not into Twitter too much, it’s not for me, but sometimes I’ll hear that she’s posted something. I always say, ‘Rebeca, just be careful what you’re posting!.”

“I’m not on there so I don’t see most of it. But the fans seem to love her so it’s all good. She loves coming to the games and sometimes when I go home we’ll talk about what happened on the pitch.”
Fabinho added: “Sometimes I’ll ask her what she thought about the game and whether she thought I played well. But she always says I played good! I don’t think she’s impartial.”
“Sometimes I can tell by the look on her face that maybe it wasn’t so good. She knows me so well. She knows that sometimes I’m angry and don’t want to talk about the game and she always respects that.”

She called time on her football career when Fabinho joined Liverpool in the summer of 2018. The pair was married in 2015 and are now expecting their first child, a boy that they have already to decided to name Israel.
