Sean Dyche was asked about the Premier League’s ‘secret rapper’, his response was priceless

The Everton boss was asked about the mystery rapper who claims to be a Premier League player

Everton boss Sean Dyche was in no mood to entertain a journalist’s question about the Premier League’s ‘secret rapper’.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that a Premier League footballer using the alias ‘Dide’ has released a rap tune titled ‘Thrill’.

Ever since the song's release, fans have been working around the clock in a bid to discover the player behind the mask.

The likes of Wilfried Zaha, Jadon Sancho, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah have all been linked with being the real identity of Dide.

Ahead of this weekend’s fixtures, Everton boss Dyche was asked if he has any secret rappers within his squad.

Dyche's reply was absolutely priceless, he bluntly said: “Seriously, I can’t catch my breath. That even gets a question?”

Fans were quick to react on social media.

One said: “Dyche out here dealing with a relegation scrap and there's a journo asking that…”

Another joked: “Sean Dyche would throw up if he heard rap, shockingly bad question.”

A third fan added: “The team is in the mud and some clown is asking irrelevant questions.”

Someone else wrote: “It's probably him.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “Haha Dyche with a proper answer, what a man.”

Quite clearly, Dyche was in no mood to entertain the journalist’s question as he has more pressing issues to tackle.

Everton are currently in the middle of a relegation battle as they look to preserve their Premier League status.

It has been another torrid season for the Toffees as they currently sit in 17th place in the league table.

The Goodison Park club are level on points with Nottingham Forest and are only out of the bottom three due to their goal difference.

Everton will be back in action this weekend as they travel to Selhurst Park on Saturday to take on Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace.
