Europe’s highest-earning players revealed, Eden Hazard earns more than Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski
| Last updated
Eden Hazard has been ranked higher than the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Erling Haaland in the list of highest-paid players in Europe.
During his time with Chelsea, Hazard developed into one of the finest wingers in world football, which earned him a big-money move to Real Madrid in 2019.
However, his time at the Bernabeu has been badly hampered by injury and subsequent poor form. Overall his time with Madrid has been described as a failure.
Despite this, Hazard is still part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad and according to French news outlet L’Equipe, he is still one of the highest-paid players in European football.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the top three earners are Paris Saint Germain superstars Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
According to L’Equipe, the highest-paid footballer in the Premier League is Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, who was seventh with a salary of €23.4 million.
