Erling Haaland jokingly told Manchester City teammate Cole Palmer he needs to 'start listening' to manager Pep Guardiola after seeing his passing stats in FIFA 23.

We're a week away from the latest instalment of EA Sports' hit franchise dropping and a number of clubs are revealing their players' ratings.

Every player is desperate to see their rating and they always have incredible reactions.

City decided to play a game of 'Higher or Lower' with Palmer and Jack Grealish against the team of Haaland and Nathan Ake. In a clip shared to City's TikTok account, It's revealed Palmer's passing stat is a 62.

The 20-year-old made his Premier League debut last season and is considered one for the future, so there's no shame in having a lower rating than his teammates.

Enter Haaland. Stood next to Palmer, he takes a look at the card, puts his hand on the winger's shoulder and remarks: "62 passing... you gotta start listening to Pep!"

Savage stuff. The video has gone viral and they think Haaland could be the funniest player in the Premier League right now.

One person commented: "That's a lot of damage there."

Another said: "Literally the funniest footballer on earth."

A third put: "Bro this s**t is killing me."

While someone tweeted: "Look at Haaland talking to him like his lil bro."

Palmer's overall card will be a 67 rating and he'll undoubtedly have high potential in Career Mode.

Haaland, meanwhile, is an 88 rated and one of the best strikers on the game.

Only Kylian Mbappe, Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane are rated higher than the Norway international.

Following a summer transfer from Borussia Dortmund, Haaland has scored a whopping 14 goals in 10 games this season.

City are currently second in the Premier League and unbeaten. They return to action on October 2 against bitter rivals Manchester United.
