Piers Morgan's reaction to England winning the Euro 2025 final has gone viral on social media.
After a gruelling and competitive 90 minutes that saw a goal for both sides, England and Spain went to extra-time in the final of the 2025 UEFA European Women's Championship.
But after another 30 minutes on the pitch still couldn't determine a winner, the two sides entered into a penalty shootout that had historic consequences for both Spain and the Lionesses.
Crucial goals from Alex Greenwood, Niamh Charles and tournament hero Chloe Kelly matched by stunning saves from new no.1 keeper Hannah Hampton secured a 3-2 shootout win for England.
Shortly after Kelly's penalty won the tournament for England, celebratory posts started pouring in on social media, including one from Morgan that has since gone viral.

Therefore, he of course was quick to congratulate England on successfully defending their European title with the win over Spain.
Posting on X, the journalist wrote: "BOOOM! Well done Lionesses - and great to see an Arsenal star score the winning penalty. Congrats Chloe Kelly."
However, Morgan wasn't , as he hit out at the likes of Joey Barton and others who have expressed negative views about the Lionesses or compared them with the England men's team.
In post replying journalist Henry Winter's criticism of men 'triggered' by the Lionesses winning, Morgan added: "They also have to acknowledge that our women's team is a lot more successful than our men's team, the standard of the women's game is light years ahead of where it used to be, and commercially, the women's game is now doing big numbers.
Morgan's posts was praised by fans, while Barton has been heavily criticised with many echoing Morgan's view that men and women's football should not be compared to each other.
